Part 5. Data Validation & Handoff

Data handoff is the final gate where digital intent becomes physical reality. This section defines the protocols that prevent "garbage in, garbage out" scenarios.

It details:

  • DFT & Firmware: Defining the test access points and programming files required to wake up the silicon and verify function.
  • The Handshake: Managing the Engineering Query (EQ) process to resolve ambiguities before cutting metal, and using the FAI (First Article Inspection) as the final proof of process capability.

This ensures that the transition from file to factory is verified, stable, and reversible.
